On 14 December 2022, H.E Meas Kim Heng, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Türkiye hosted a Dinner in honor of H.E. Ms. Serap Yaşar, Chairwoman of the Türkiye-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Member of Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye and 6 other Members of Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Residence. On that occasion, the discussion focused on the parliamentary cooperation between Cambodia and Türkiye and her planned trip to Cambodia to strengthen the friendship between the two countries early next year.
On 29 December 2022, His Excellency Meas Kim Heng, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Türkiye, paid courtesy call to H.E. Prof. Dr. Vahit Kirişci, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of Türkiye and Co-Chairman of the Cambodia-Türkiye Joint Economic Commission (JEC).
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the progress made in the field of trade and socioeconomic cooperation between the two countries and had firm confidence that the upcoming Third Meeting of the JEC to be held in Phnom Penh on 10-12 January 2023 will yield satisfactory results, contributing to elevate the relations of friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Türkiye to a higher level.
The Taste of Angkor is a cookbook which beautifully reflects a journey of quintessential flavors emanating from the Khmer culinary art. It was inspired by the passion for food and cooking refined over a thousand years of civilization where a good meal stood at the interface between the people, their myths and their roots.
"The Taste of Angkor" Cookbook was prepared and published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as part of our cultural diplomacy. It has been distinguished as the "Best Asian Cookbook" at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2021. The Award Ceremony was held in Paris from 29 November to 6 December 2021.
